League Of Legends is an online team game based on a popular mod for Warcraft 3 called Defense of the Ancients. It focuses around defending your base an turrets while assisting your minions to destroy your opponent's turrets and base.

There are a multitude of "champions" that you can play as and you choose your champion before the start of each match. Once started, each player starts of at level 1 and killing enemies' turrets and minions gains experience and gold that can be used to level up your champion and buy items in that match to improve your abilities.

Games typically range from 25 minutes to 50 minutes but can be longer or shorter. Outside of each match, you also have a summoner level that ranges from 1 to 30. Increasing your summoner levels allows you to unlock summoner spells and runes to assist your champion during matches.
